Live Session app v1.1.5: Drop images into a live session transcript

You can now paste, drag, or add images into a live session transcript and they stay pinned to the moment in the conversation where you added them, including in copied and downloaded transcripts. This build also fixes tab scrolling in the session dock and clicks on the project breadcrumb.

A screenshot you shared mid-conversation used to live somewhere else entirely, and the transcript you sent afterwards had no trace of it. That gap is closed in this build.

Inline images in transcripts

Drag an image into a live session transcript, paste it from your clipboard, or use the add-image button. The image lands at the point in the conversation where you added it and stays there when you reopen the session.

Images you add in Chief also show up in the finished session page on the web, at the same place in the conversation.

Images in exports

Copy or download a transcript and the images come with it. Markdown, plain text, rich text, and Word downloads each carry the images in their own format, numbered and timestamped alongside the surrounding turns.

Downloaded files use durable links, so a transcript you saved today still shows its images when you open it weeks later.

Fixes

Horizontal scrolling across the session tab strip barely worked: a trackpad swipe did nothing, and a vertical scroll over the tabs would scroll the page behind them or trigger back-navigation. Both trackpad and mouse now pan the tabs left and right, and the page behind stays put.

Install this build to get inline images in your session transcripts and exports, and to stop fighting the tab strip.
