Invite guests to a live session with a secret link
Create a revocable link that lets anyone watch a live session's summary and transcript in the browser, then read the recap afterward, with no account needed.
You have someone who needs to follow a meeting but has no account and no access to the project. Until now your only option was to relay the notes afterward.
Secret guest links
Open a live session and click Share. Chief creates a secret link and copies it to your clipboard. Anyone holding that link opens a standalone page with the running summary and transcript, no sign-in and no project access. The same link serves the recap once the session ends, and you can revoke it at any time from the same modal.
Guests see the summary, the transcript, and the brief. They never see who else is on the call or the meeting join URL.
Email invites
Instead of pasting the link yourself, type addresses into the share modal and Chief sends the invite for you. You can send to up to 10 people at once, and the modal tells you which ones went through.
Live updates in the web app
The web session page used to refresh on a timer, so transcript and summary lagged behind the call. Now new turns and summary updates appear as they happen, for you and for anyone on a guest link. If a connection drops, the page picks up where it left off without duplicating transcript lines, and the session timer stays right when you leave and rejoin.
Hosts and participants
A live session now names one host, the device capturing audio, while everyone else watches. Open the participants view to see who is on the call and who is hosting. As a project owner you can hand hosting to another participant, and if the host's connection drops, another participant can pick it up so the session keeps recording.
Nested live summary
The live summary reads as a document now: topic sections, main points, and one level of supporting sub-points beneath them. Detail nests under the point it supports instead of being hidden, and nothing disappears unless you set it aside yourself. Sections hold the position where their topic first came up, so the summary stops rearranging itself mid-call. Copy and download give you the same structure.
Start with the Share button on any live session. If you would rather keep a session inside the project, nothing changes until you create a link.
