Connect Notion once for your whole organization
Notion now connects at the organization level, and Chief can read, create, and edit Notion pages from chat with your approval on every write.
Connecting Notion used to mean wiring it up project by project, and Chief could only read what had already synced. Now one connection covers your whole organization, and Chief can work inside your pages instead of only looking at them.
Organization-level Notion connection
An organization owner connects a Notion workspace once from the Integrations page, then deploys it to whichever projects should have access. Each project keeps its own choice of pages to sync, either everything shared with the connection or a specific selection.
Projects already connected to Notion keep working, and their pages stay searchable.
Rewritten setup instructions
Notion replaced its old developer flow with Connections, so the old steps led to a screen that no longer exists. The setup panel now walks through the current flow with fresh screenshots: create a new connection, choose Access token, grant capabilities, copy the token, share your pages, then turn Notion on from the prompt bar.
Reading and editing Notion from chat
Ask Chief to find something in Notion and it searches your workspace, reads a full page, queries a database, or pulls up comments grouped by thread. It can also create pages and databases, add and update database rows, move a page under a new parent, rename a database or change its columns, and comment on a page.
Every write shows you a card first with the exact change, including the edited text with removals struck through. Approve or reject it, and the card stays in the conversation as a receipt of what happened. If a write fails, the card says so instead of claiming success.
Edits checked before you approve
Chief used to propose a page edit that quietly matched nothing, so you approved a change that never landed. Chief now checks each edit against the live page before showing you the card, and corrects itself in the same turn when the text it typed differs from what is on the page.
Mentioning Notion pages and people
Type @ in chat and Notion pages and workspace members appear in the picker. A page you shared moments ago shows up right away rather than waiting for the next sync.
Filtering assets by source
The Files list has a Source filter, so you can see only what came from Notion, Google Drive, or Zoom, or only what you uploaded. Each file also carries a small source icon next to its name.
